Daegu Library is a competition submission for a library competition held by the city of Daegu in South Korea.

 

The entry idea by Professor Richard Kroeker, architect, was to develop a building from my porcelain models that I had based on root systems.

 

The optical scans of the porcelain forms were digitally translated into a workable form system by Dr. Roly Hudson, then envisioned as a library by the team of Richard Kroeker, Roly Hudson, Diogo Burnay and Neil Forrest.
